Portraits of Children_Olney_Milton Keynes

As a portrait photographer based near Olney I am lucky to have lots of beautiful parks and outdoor areas to take families for portrait sessions.  This particular session took place on the Wollaston Playing Fields as I was photographing  two little boys who love the outdoors and there were trees to climb and great hiding places, and lots of sticks to play sword fighting – an ideal spot for some fun photos.

Here’s a selection of my favourite images from the session – I hope you like them.

Outdoor Family Portraits_Chesham

One of the things I try to do with my family portrait sessions (weather depending of course) is to choose a location that is meaningful to the family.  So for this location portrait session in chesham we went down to a lovely little wood alongside a stream where the children play all the time – that way the years later the photos become a really good memory of somewhere that the children spent hours playing when they were young.

Here are a few of my favourite ones – hope you like them.

Newborn Baby Portraits in Hertfordshire

This blog post features newborn baby portraits in Great Gaddesdon of my  youngest model so far – a gorgeous little girl aged just 5 days.  She was a real star and a perfect model and I was able to get a combination of sleepy shots and shots where she was awake and alert.  Newborn sessions take as long as we need to take working around the needs of the baby and making the session relaxing for baby and parents alike.  There was an added bonus for me in that this little lady is the new daughter to two friends I’ve known for many years so it was particularly lovely for me to see their little family of three … :)  I had so many favourite shots it was difficult to choose .. but here are a few from the session. Congratulations again on your beautiful baby girl !

Newborn Photos in Oxford

Have got a little behind with the blog posts so I have a couple of newborn sessions to blog.  I recently went to Oxford to take some family portraits to celebrate the new arrival of a lovely baby boy.  He was just 8 days when I sent to see the family and it was lovely to meet the new baby as well as to meet his older brother – a real little character who didn’t stop smiling.  Here’s a few of my favourites …

Family Portraits in Market Harborough

One of the great things about being a portrait photographer in Northamptonshire, Milton Keynes, Olney and surrounding areas is that I’m blessed with lots of fantastic scenery around me that make ideal locations for outdoor family portraits.  Here are a few images from a recent session in Market Harborough where we made the most of the nearby Rapeseed fields and local park to get some natural shots of the children and family.  Here are a few favourites from the session.
