Family Portraits Olney_Buckinghamshire

I love family sessions – especially when everyone takes part – not just the children.  This session was done at the Wollaston playing Fields,  in Wollaston, near Wellingborough, Northamptonshire – with the children, the parents, uncle and Grandparents and even Mr Potatohead – we had great fun playing in the woods, on the swings, climbing the big tree trunks and running about.   I can take photos for you at the location of your choice – this one was ideal for children of different ages.  I photographed these particular children about a year ago, so it was wonderful to see them again and see how much they’d grown.  They’ve been living in the USA in the interim so it was lovely to see them spending time with their Grandparents – who miss them very much – and also hear those little American accents developing.  I hope you enjoy the images.

It was very hard to narrow down this session as I had so many personal favourites.  The first image really sums up for me the fun of taking pictures of children !

These last couple I really really love – one because its a wonderful Daddy and his little girl shot and the other for the sheer joy on the face of the little one on the swing:)

Family Portraits Northampton

Are you looking for some relaxed, natural family portraits in Northampton?  I specialise in images of children and babies.  The session below was organised by a proud Grandmother as a new baby gift.  She wanted to give her daughter and son-in-law a special gift they could treasure to celebrate the birth of their first baby.  These images were taken at home in Northampton.  Photos taken in your own home are ideal for new mums as you are still establishing a routine and its hard to schedule a precise time that will be ideal for the baby.  My sessions are not at all rushed so we have to capture the new arrival and work the session around the necessary feeds and changes.  If you would like to buy a different gift for an expectant mother – how about a new baby session voucher – contact me for more information.  In the meantime hope you enjoy this images of a gorgeous baby boy at just a few weeks old.

Baby Photos in Olney_Buckinghamshire

As a newborn photographer based in Northampton I specialise in taking pictures of babies and children of all ages as well as families.  Its wonderful to take images of new babies to capture those special moments where Parents and Grandparents are still so excited by the new little member of their family – especially when its a first baby.  I love it when the pictures show the love and sheer sense of wonder on peoples faces – its one of the many wonderful things about my job as a photographer.  The following images were taken in Olney near Milton Keynes of a wonderful little boy who was a few weeks old.  His proud Grandma made a special journey to be part of the session.  Hope you like them.

Family Portraits in Sarratt_Photos with Grandma

I recently did some outdoor family portraits in Sarratt, Hertfordshire.   It was a fabulous session – with a gorgeous 8 month old baby boy.  His Grandma had asked me to take the photos as the little fella was visiting the UK on holiday for a few weeks and she doesn’t get to see him all the time.  So I met them at home in Loudwater.  It was a lovely session – it was a fantastic bright sunny day so I was able to take all the pictures in the garden.  Here are a few from the session, starting with my favourite one of the little boy and his Grandmother –  I hope you like them.

Three Gorgeous Cousins_Baby Photos in Croxley

Ever since two rather special twin baby sisters (or the “Twisters” as they are known) were born, I’ve been looking forward to the opportunity to photograph them.  They live in Australia which made it rather difficult so I was absolutely delighted when I heard they were coming over for a visit.  They are just gorgeous and I had a lovely day photographing them along with their cousin (who I took pictures of as a newborn).  Seeing her a bit more grown up was a real treat and taking images of the Twisters was wonderful.  They have the most fabulous big eyes with incredible curly eyelashes and – when they weren’t smiling and twinkling those lovely eyes they had the most adorable little matching pouts – too cute.

One of the things I find really cute in babies is when they suck their thumbs – my own baby has always been a thumb sucker so perhaps that is the reason.  So I often leave in these sort of pictures as Mum’s usually love them

The Twister’s cousin was great fun and smiled like a supermodel through the session – looking like she really enjoyed herself

I had a fabulous time taking these portraits of children in Rickmansworth – ending up with a few of all the girls including their mums:)
